Last updated 17 September 2026

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you use dumboparis.com. It is written under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.

The short version

This site asks you for nothing. There is no account, no booking, no order, no payment and no newsletter form. You can read every page without giving us anything. What follows is the detail of the few cases where data does exist.

What is processed, and why

Technical logs

Our host records the requests made to the site: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. These logs exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are not used to profile anyone and they are not cross-referenced with anything else. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure site (art. 6.1.f). They are kept by the host for a short technical period and we do not export them.

Emails you send us

If you write to contact@dumboparis.com, we process what you put in your message in order to answer it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you (art. 6.1.f), or the steps taken before entering a contract when your message is a job application or a business proposal (art. 6.1.b). Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for up to three years from our last exchange. Applications are deleted at the end of the recruitment process unless you agree that we keep them on file for two years.

Your cookie choice

When you answer the banner, your answer is stored in your own browser so that we do not ask again. It stays on your device, it is never sent to us and it is not a cookie in the tracking sense. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies

Only if you agree. If you choose “Allow all” on the banner, we load Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies on your device for that purpose. If you choose “Allow necessary”, nothing is loaded at all: not a reduced version, not a silent ping. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a), which you may withdraw at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner asks again.

The measurement is set up without advertising features: no Google Signals, no ad personalisation. We see how many people read a page, not who they are. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Pages on other sites that we link to — a delivery platform, a press article, Instagram — set their own cookies once you arrive there, under their own rules.

Who else sees the data

Our host, acting on our instructions and for hosting only: Vercel Inc.,440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Our email provider, for the same reason. Google, for audience measurement, and only if you agreed to it. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. Data is disclosed to an administrative or judicial authority only where the law requires it.

Your rights

You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to contact@dumboparis.com and we will answer within one month.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: cnil.fr.
